The Seahawks cut Desir on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Desir inked a one-year deal with Seattle back in April, but he didn't do enough to earn a regular-season roster spot. The veteran cornerback appeared in 12 games between the Jets and Ravens last season.
