Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was held under 200 passing yards in a comfortable 27-13 victory over Jacksonville in Week 8.
Tannehill hooked up with Rishard Matthews for a 3-yard strike late in the third quarter. He had another chance of scoring but was picked off by J.T. Thomas on a pass intended to Matthews in the end zone.
Tannehill compiled 196 yards through the air while completing 16 of 29 passes. He added a touchdown and an interception, registering a 73.3 passer rating. He also broke for a 30-yard run for the third consecutive game, becoming the first quarterback to reach that mark since Michael Vick in 2004. He was sacked three times and finished with 48 yards on five carries in a 27-13 victory.
Miami will take on the Chargers at home in Week 9.
