James (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Bengals, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
James suffered an ankle injury in the team's loss to Kansas City in Week 8, and he will now be forced to miss his first contest of the year. In his absence, Jackson Powers-Johnson will likely draw the start at center against Cincinnati.
