Powers-Johnson is not expected to play until the Raiders' regular-season opener against the Chargers on Sept. 8, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Powers-Johnson was activated off the active/PUP list Aug. 14, but head coach Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that he doesn't expect to see the 21-year-old on the field until Week 1. Powers-Johnson was selected in the second round (44th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he's competing for a starting role at interior offensive line this season.
