Whittington (quadriceps) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Whittington sustained the quad injury in Week 1 against the 49ers and hadn't practiced since that game before Thursday. Now, he's trending in the right direction as Sunday night's showdown with Denver approaches. Whittington caught one pass for eight yards on the 25 offensive snaps he played in the Rams' season opener.
