Jackson isn't expected to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Packers, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Banner reports.
It's no surprise that the Ravens aren't inclined to risk playing their franchise QB on Saturday, but Jackson will at least get some reps against a defense other than his own team's this week, with Baltimore and Green Bay scheduled to conduct a joint practice Thursday. As the coming campaign approaches, Jackson indicates that he's shed about 10 pounds since last season, with an eye toward increasing his agility and on-field energy level. As long as the 27-year-old can stay healthy in the coming weeks and months, he's poised to maintain his status as a top-level fantasy QB in 2024.
