The Titans informed Saffold of his release Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Despite earning the first Pro Bowl nod of his career in 2021, Saffold will be a cap casualty for the Titans, who will clear $10.5 million in cap space by cutting the left guard. Since he was released before the start of the new league year March 16, Saffold will get an early head start on finding a new home before the signing moratorium is lifted for all impending free agents next week.
