The Cowboys hosted Charles for a tryout Wednesday, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Charles reached an injury settlement with the Panthers in early August. The offensive guard has recovered from his calf injury and is ready to take another shot at an NFL roster. The Cowboys chose to sign Laken Tomlinson instead, but Charles could still be considered by the Cowboys or other franchises.
