The Saints signed Square on Friday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
Square inks a deal with the Saints after Jalen Dalton landed on injured reserve with a triceps injury. The 32-year-old has started 24 games over seven years with the Eagles and Chargers, registering 6.5 sacks. He will compete with Malcolm Roach and Josiah Bronson for a backup role on the interior of New Orleans' defensive line.
