Dalton (triceps) was placed on injured reserve by the Saints on Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.

Last season, Dalton partially tore his triceps and, after almost a year of rehab, has now suffered a full tear. The North Carolina product will have surgery soon and will miss the remainder of the season unless he is able to reach an injury settlement with New Orleans.
