Miller was signed from the practice squad by the Saints on Saturday, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
Miller was cut by the Saints on Monday but landed back with the team's practice squad. He may be needed in an expanded role among the team's secondary and special teams unit in Week 2 against Carolina, particularly if Marshon Lattimore (hand) is sidelined.
