Mathieu (forearm) has been ruled out from returning to Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay, John DeShazier of the Saints' official site reports.
Mathieu exited with a forearm injury in the second quarter and was officially ruled out early in the fourth. He logged one tackle prior to his exit. Johnathan Abram is in line for plenty of work for the remainder of the game with Mathieu not able to return.
