The Dolphins released Ahmed (undisclosed) on Monday, per the team's official site.
Ahmed has played all 38 games of his career with Miami since going undrafted out of Washington back in 2020, so it's somewhat surprising to see him now be cut by the team. In corresponding moves, the Dolphins added running backs Anthony McFarland and Zander Horvath on Monday.
