Sam Darnold (glute) won't suit up in Week 2, meaning Drew Lock will be the team's starting signal-caller. Milroe will occupy the No. 2 spot on the depth chart, so head coach Mike Macdonald wants to be sure he is ready to go in case Lock gets injured.
