Coach Mike Tomlin said Monday that Pickett (ankle) isn't a candidate to play in Saturday's game against the Colts, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Pickett has already missed one game while recovering from tightrope surgery to address a right high-ankle sprain, and he looks as though he'll need at least one more week to heal up from the procedure before he resumes practicing. The Steelers will hand Mitch Trubisky a second straight start at quarterback Saturday, while Mason Rudolph handles backup duties.
