Wilson (calf) remained limited at practice Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Though Wilson still isn't practicing fully, he noted Thursday via Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com, "I'm definitely gaining ground. I feel good. I was able to do a lot more work today, yesterday, so we're getting better every day." That said, Varley indicated that the Steelers continue to prepare for Sunday's game against the Chargers, moving forward with Justin Fields working as their perceived QB starter for Week 3. Wilson now has one more chance to upgrade to full practice participation before Pittsburgh's final injury report is posted Friday.
