Houston designated Heck (foot) for return from its reserve/PUP list Wednesday.
After spending the first nine weeks of the season on the reserve/PUP list, Heck finally seems to be on the cusp of returning to action. He'll likely need to manage a full practice at some point this week to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend, though.
