The Texans placed Heck (foot) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday.
Heck continues to deal with a foot injury and he will remain on the PUP list to begin the season. The veteran tackle will not be eligible to play for the first four weeks of the season. Upon his return, Heck is likely to play in a depth role for Houston's offensive line.
