Polk (knee) had three carries for four yards in Houston's 30-6 win over Jacksonville in Week 17.
Polk and Jonathan Grimes each shared top-backup status behind Alfred Blue at various points during the season, but it's Grimes (two touchdowns against the Jaguars) who has the upper hand heading into the first-round of the playoffs when Houston hosts Kansas City. Polk will remain part of a three-back committee, but his usage is subject to other factors.
