Van Ginkel recorded one tackle and an interception returned for a touchdown in Sunday's 23-17 win against the Jets.
Van Ginkel dropped into coverage on a third down late in the first quarter and corralled a pass intended for Garrett Wilson with one hand, returning it 63 yards to the house to give the Vikings a 10-0 lead. It was his second pick-six of the year and the fourth touchdown of his career.
