Stanley (undisclosed) reverted to Minnesota's injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transactions report.
The Vikings waived Stanley with an injury designation Tuesday, and after going unclaimed, he's now back on the team's IR. Stanley will remain on IR for all of 2021 barring an injury settlement, while Minnesota heads into the regular season with Kellen Mond as the primary backup to Kirk Cousins.
