Grier reverted to the Cowboys' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Grier was elevated to the active roster for the second week in a row to back up Cooper Rush. With Dak Prescott (thumb) expected to be out for Week 4 against the Commanders, Grier will likely be elevated once again.
