The Packers waived Sheppard on Sunday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Sheppard spent the offseason competing for a depth role after signing a reserve/future contract with the team in January but was unable to earn a roster spot. The 2025 undrafted free agent spent last season on Green Bay's practice squad, where he could return for the upcoming campaign should he clear waivers.
