Green announced his retirement via Instagram on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Green was drafted by the Bengals with the No. 4 overall pick in 2011 and spent 10 seasons with Cincinnati before joining the Cardinals. In his first campaign with Arizona (2021), he finished with 54 receptions on 92 targets for 848 yards and three scores, his best season since 2017. However, he struggled to make much of an impact in 2022 and has decided to hang up the cleats with Arizona's future unclear due to coach Kliff Kingsbury's firing and Kyler Murray's ACL rehab. Green, a seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time All Pro, finishes his 12-year career with 727 receptions, 10,514 yards and 70 touchdowns.

Green (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest in Atlanta, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. Green was a listed DNP on Wednesday's practice estimate due to an illness, but he returned as a limited participant Thursday and capped the week with a full session. He'll thus be available to a Cardinals offense that may be without DeAndre Hopkins this weekend after the latter missed Friday's practice with a knee injury. If Hopkins ends up inactive Sunday, Marquise Brown and Greg Dortch would be the top wide receivers for the team's Week 17 starting quarterback David Blough, but Green, Robbie Anderson and even Pharoh Cooper would be candidates for targets.

Green (illness) was limited at Thursday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. One day removed from sitting out with an illness, Green mixed into some drills Thursday. He'll have one more session Friday to attempt to log all activity, at which point the Cardinals may give him a designation for Sunday's game in Atlanta.

Green (illness) returned to practice Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. After an illness kept him out of Wednesday's walkthrough, Green was back on the practice field in some capacity one day later. His activity level won't be known until the Cardinals post their second injury report of Week 17, but even if he begins to put himself on a path to play Sunday in Atlanta, his overall output (19-128-1 line on 40 targets in 13 games) and inconsistent snap share don't make him an appealing option for fantasy purposes.

Green didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. In a season filled with sporadic usage, Green's most recent three games have yielded just one catch (on four targets) for seven yards, despite earning between 27 and 59 percent of the snaps on a weekly basis during that span. Quarterback play is partly to blame, as the Cards have had to roll with Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley the last two-plus games after Kyler Murray tore his ACL in Week 14. Still, Green's cumulative 19-128-1 receiving line on 40 targets in 13 appearances on the campaign doesn't inspire much confidence, even if he's able to get past his current ailment.
