Breeland was signed to the Cardinals' practice squad Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. The cornerback was waived by the Vikings on Dec. 18 prior to testing positive for COVID-19 Dec. 28 after working out for the Cardinals, delaying the signing for over a week. Breeland will provide a veteran presence in the Cardinals' secondary as they gear up for a playoff run. In 13 games with the Vikings in 2021, he made 63 tackles, deflected five passes, intercepted two balls and forced two fumbles.
