The Lions signed Decker to a three-year, $60 million contract extension Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Decker is slated to make $13.7 million under his current contract in 2024, and this extension will keep him in Detroit through the 2027 season. The 2016 first-round pick out of Ohio State has started all 112 regular-season games that he's appeared in since entering the league, and he's expected to remain the Lions' top left tackle for the foreseeable future.

Decker (groin) logged a full practice session Thursday and does not have an injury designation for Saturday's game against Dallas, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports. Decker didn't practice in any capacity Wednesday, but his ability to return to a full session Thursday means he's clear to suit up Saturday against the Cowboys. The left tackle has played every offensive snap for Detroit since Week 4 and will look to extend that streak in Saturday's crucial contest.

Decker (groin) was a nonparticipant in Wednesday's practice. This is a step in the wrong direction after Decker was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice walk-through. The Lions have an important matchup in Dallas on Saturday, and if Decker is unable to suit up, Colby Sorsdal or Dan Skipper would likely step into his role at left tackle.

Decker (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 2 versus the Seahawks. Decker suffered an ankle injury in Week 1 and will now be sidelined for the Lions' matchup with Seattle in Week 2. Matt Nelson seems likley to draw the start at left tackle in his absence.
