The Bills signed Lee to a contract Friday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. Lee spent last offseason with the Bills before being waived. Ultimately, all 11 of his appearances last season came with the Raiders. Now, the veteran linebacker will receive another chance to carve out a role in Buffalo.

Lee (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. Lee has played a limited role in the Raiders' linebacker unit this season, but he has contributed regularly on special teams. He still has time to clear protocols ahead of Sunday night's elimination game against the division-rival Chargers.

Lee (toe) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Lee was already ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers but will now miss the last two contests of the season after playing through the toe injury the previous two weeks. The 24-year-old finishes 2019 with 11 total tackles in five games.

Lee (toe) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Lee missed 10 games this year due to an ankle injury, but he'll play through this toe issue for a second straight week. The third-year pro will fill into a rotational role, as he logged 33 defensive snaps and three solo tackles in Week 14's loss to the Titans.

Lee racked up 11 tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 42-28 loss to the Colts. Lee led the Raiders in tackles as he brought down the ball carrier 11 times in just 43 defensive snaps. He's slated to start at middle linebacker once again Thursday night in a contest against the 49ers.
