Addae (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. Addae played a significant role on the Colts' defense Saturday against the Cardinals with Khari Willis on the COVID list. Addae played 94 percent of the snaps and recorded six tackles (four solo). Now he joins Willis in COVID protocols. Addae will look to gain clearance in time for the Colts' Week 17 game with the Raiders.

The Chargers promoted Addae to the active roster Tuesday. Addae will provide depth to the Chargers' secondary that has lost S Derwin James (knee) for the year and CB Chris Harris (foot) for four to six weeks. The veteran safety played with the Chargers in Week 3 and stuck to special teams, but if more injuries pop up, he could carve out a role on defense.

Addae (knee) will not travel with the team for Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs. Addae was limited at practice all week, but he will not be given the green light for Sunday's. In his absence, Mike Adams will presumably step in at free safety.

Addae (Achilles) has been cleared for Saturday's playoff game against the Bills. Addae practiced in limited fashion all week. The team has ultimately given him the green light, and he figures to take on his usual workload at free safety assuming he avoids any setbacks.

Addae recorded two solo tackles, one defended pass and one interception during Sunday's 26-3 win over the Jaguars. Addae benefited from quarterback Gardner Minshew accumulating four turnovers. As long as Addae remains relegated to a backup role at free safety, he won't warrant fantasy consideration in IDP formats.
