Lacy (undisclosed) reverted to the Raiders' injured reserve after getting waived/injured by the team Sunday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Lacy was competing for a spot on the Raiders' active roster after spending the 2022 season on their practice squad. The nature of his injury is unclear, but he is now set to miss the entire 2023 campaign unless both he and Las Vegas can reach an injury settlement at some point down the line.

  • Chris Lacy: Let go by Las Vegas
    By RotoWire

The Raiders waived/injured Lacy (undisclosed) on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Lacy rejoined the Raiders on a future/reserve contract in January after spending time on the team's practice squad in 2022. He last saw NFL action in 2019 with Detroit. Lacy will revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers and could be let go if he reaches an injury settlement with Las Vegas.

  • The Raiders signed Lacy to a future/reserve contract Monday. Lacy was initially waived by Las Vegas after spending about two weeks with the team this preseason, and he re-joined the team via the practice squad in mid-August. The 6-foot-3 wideout was then elevated ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale against Kansas City, though he ultimately did not see the field. Lacy was one of 13 players to sign a reserve/future contract with the Raiders on Monday, so he'll likely compete with DJ Turner and Isaiah Zuber for a depth role heading into the 2023 season.

  • Las Vegas elevated Lacy to its active roster from the practice squad Friday for Saturday's game against Kansas City. Lacy will have a chance to make his season debut in Week 18 after spending the majority of the campaign on the Raiders' practice squad. The undrafted wideout out of Oklahoma State caught three of 10 targets for 60 yards in seven appearances for the Lions during the 2019 campaign, but he hasn't seen regular-season action since.
