  • Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Ready to rock
    By RotoWire

McGary (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the Buccaneers. McGary missed the Falcons' Week 4 win over the Saints after sustaining a knee injury the week prior, but following a full practice session Wednesday, he appears to have moved past the issue. Expect McGary to serve as the Falcons' top left tackle during Thursday night's divisional matchup against the Buccaneers.

  • McGary (knee) was limited during Friday's practice but has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints. McGary suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of the Falcons' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs. He started the week with back-to-back DNPs, and despite participating in a limited capacity during Friday's session, his knee injury is too severe for him to suit up Sunday. McGary's next chance at playing will be on a short week against the Buccaneers on Oct. 3. Storm Norton figures to start at right tackle for the Falcons in McGary's absence.

    By RotoWire

McGary, who exited Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Chiefs early, is believed to have suffered an MCL sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. McGary will undergo an MRI to verify the diagnosis and also receive a timeframe for his recovery. While he is out of action, the Falcons will be without their starting right tackle and will likely turn to Storm Norton to handle those duties. However, depending on the severity of the sprain, McGary could still suit up this Sunday against the Saints.
