Young didn't appear Tuesday on the Broncos' estimated practice report and appears to have cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Young was sidelined for a third straight game in Sunday's 34-13 loss to the Chargers due to the head injury, but his absence from the team's first Week 18 report seemingly implies that he would have been listed as a full participant if included. Unless Young suffers a setback in practice over the next two days, he should be ready to play in Saturday's season finale against the Chiefs. Young has compiled 75 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles across 13 games between the Rams and Broncos this season.

Young (concussion) will not play in Sunday's matchup with the Raiders, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official website reports. Young's absence will mark his second straight missed contest due to a concussion. As a result, both Baron Browning (illness) and Jonas Griffith are candidates to see extra snaps.

Young (concussion) is doubtful for Sunday against the Bengals, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports. Young suffered the concussion during the Broncos' week 14 win against the Lions and has yet to clear protocols. When Young exited the game, he was replaced by Jonas Griffith, who would likely be the beneficiary of Young's potential absence Sunday against the Bengals.

Young remains in concussion protocols Monday according to head coach Vic Fangio, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Young suffered a concussion in the Broncos' win over the Lions on Sunday. It was reported after the game that Young would be entering concussion protocols, and head coach Vic Fangio reiterated that Monday. Fangio also noted that he believed fill-in Jonas Griffith did, "fine for his first action in the NFL." If Young were to sit out Sunday against the Bengals, Griffith would likely be looking at extra opportunity once again.

The Rams traded Young and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Broncos on Monday in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The Broncos recently placed Micah Kiser (groin) on injured reserve, which brings their total number of linebackers on IR to seven. The trade to acquire Young is Denver's second move to add linebacker help in the past few days, as they traded for outside linebacker Stephen Weatherly on Saturday. Young will likely step into the starting middle linebacker role with Justin Strnad during Kiser's absence.
