  Moore caught five of eight targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-31 win over the Texans. Moore made a strong first impression with the Bills, highlighted by a 43-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. The 29-year-old wide receiver had a career-low 682 receiving yards in 17 regular-season games with the Bears last year, but he has exceeded 1,000 yards in four of eight regular seasons split between the Panthers and Bears. Josh Allen spread the ball around as usual against Houston, but Moore paced the team with eight targets. Moore will look to build on this productive debut in Thursday's home opener against the Lions.

  I love Moore this season, and I expect him to perform well with the Bills. But he might not have a great debut at Houston. The Texans have a standout secondary with Derek Stingley Jr., Kamari Lassiter and Jalen Pitre, and Moore will have a tough matchup almost anywhere he lines up. Moore played at Houston in 2024 with the Bears and finished with six catches for 53 yards on 10 targets, and I could see a similar stat line this week. I would still start Moore in three-receiver leagues in Week 1, but I'm not expecting a big stat line in this matchup.

  Moore didn't play against the Steelers in Thursday's exhibition victory. Buffalo elected to rest the bulk of its projected regular-season starters, including Moore, for the team's final preseason game. The veteran wideout saw action in one exhibition contest, catching three of four targets for 61 yards. Moore left that game early due to an ankle injury but has since returned to practice, so he should be good to go as the Bills' top wideout Week 1 of the regular season versus a tough Texans defense.

  Moore (lower body) is participating in team drills Thursday, Matthew Bove of 7 News WKBW reports. Moore was limited in practice Tuesday after getting banged up in preseason action Saturday against the Panthers. He has progressed back to full participation Thursday, indicating that the injury is no longer hampering him. Buffalo is battling injuries to its wide receiver room behind Moore, as Khalil Shakir (undisclosed), Keon Coleman (foot) and Skyler Bell (lower body) are all hurt.

  Moore (lower body) was a limited participant in his return to practice Tuesday, Alex Brasky of SI.com reports. After sustaining an apparent lower-body injury during Saturday's preseason win over the Panthers, Moore was back on the field three days later in full pads, albeit with some restrictions in place. According to Brasky, Moore was mostly limited to individual work and didn't take part in team drills. While the Bills could monitor his workload carefully over the next few days and potentially hold him out of Saturday's exhibition versus the Browns, Moore's availability for the start of the regular season doesn't appear to be in any peril.
