Bailey (back) was signed to the Falcons' 90-man roster ahead of training camp Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official website reports. Bailey spent the 2023 season with the Chargers organization, ending the year on the team's injured reserve with a back injury, which he appears to have fully recovered from. He will now get another shot to prove himself with Atlanta, looking to earn a spot on the team's active roster as a depth option on the offensive line.

Bailey was unable to practice all week after missing Los Angeles' Week 13 win over the Patriots, so it's no surprise that the 28-year-old is headed to IR. The South Carolina product has not appeared in a game all season, and his most recent in-game action came back in 2022.

The Chargers signed Bailey to the active roster Saturday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Bailey has spent time on the Buccaneers, Vikings, Colts, Commanders and Chargers since entering the league in 2019 as an undrafted free agent. He appeared in one game for the Chargers last season, when he played just four snaps. Bailey will assume a depth offensive line role spot for the rest of the season.
