Warring had a workout with the Giants early in the week, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Warring signed a contract with the Saints on May 24 but was waived less than a month later. He was a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and he hasn't yet been able to make an impact at the NFL level. Warring notched three catches for 35 yards in 2020 with Houston but hasn't hauled in a pass since. He saw limited NFL time with the Bills and Jaguars last year.

The Saints waived Warring on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Warring signed with the Saints less than a month ago after spending time in the Texans, Patriots, Colts, Bills and Jaguars organizations for portions of the 2021 season. The 2019 third-round selection has yet to find his footing in the NFL, having appeared in only nine regular-season contests since entering the league.

Warring was signed by Jaguars on Tuesday, joining the team off of the Bills' practice squad. The tight end had been with the Bills' practice squad since the beginning of November, but he will join the Jaguars ahead of their matchup with the Patriots in Week 17. With James O'Shaughnessy the last remaining Jaguars tight end not on the COVID-19 list, Warring could step right into a significant role for the team Sunday.

Warring reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Warring suited up for the Bills on Sunday against the Dolphins with Dawson Knox (hand) unable to play. Warring played three snaps on offense and accumulated zero stats. Depending on Knox' status for Week 9, Warring may be called upon again Sunday against the Jaguars.
