  • The Cardinals activated Williams (knee) from their injured reserve list Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Williams has been out since the first quarter of Arizona's first game this season due to a knee injury, but it now seems that he's finally nearing a return ahead of Week 12. Kelvin Beachum has played relatively well in Williams' absence, and coach Jonathan Gannon said Wednesday that the team would "weigh all the variables" before deciding whether to put him back into his place at right tackle once he's available again, so it sounds like even if he's fully healthy for Sunday's game at Seattle, his status as a starter may not be guaranteed.

    By RotoWire

Williams (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Williams suffered the injury Week 1 and has been sidelined since. He'll now have a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed back on the 53-man roster. However, if he's healthy enough, he could return as soon as Sunday against the Bears. The Alabama product was signed to a two-year, $30 million contract in free agency to anchor the right side of the Cardinals' offensive line, so his potential return should be a significant boost for Arizona.

Williams will head to Arizona after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Bengals. The offensive tackle requested a trade ahead of the 2023 campaign but ultimately stuck it out in Cincinnati.
