The NFL reinstated Jackson from his two-game suspension Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Jackson was suspended for two games in late August for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, but he'll be back in action for the Rams' Week 3 matchup with the 49ers. The Rams' offensive line is dealing with a plethora of injuries after just two weeks, but Jackson's return to left tackle will represent a major boost.

Jackson has been suspended two games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, Tyler Dragon of USA Today and Cameron DaSilva of USA Today report. Jackson, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury of late, was projected to be the Rams' starting left tackle this season. He's now slated to miss the team's first two regular-season games and will be eligible to return to action in Week 3 against the 49ers. In his looming absence, Joe Noteboom is a candidate to fill in for Jackson.

The Rams tendered restricted free agent Jackson at the second-round level Tuesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Jackson joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa in 2021, and he became a full-time starter in 2023, starting all 15 regular-season games in which he played. Revamping the offensive line and keeping it together has been an offseason priority for the Rams after they re-signed RG Kevin Dotson before then striking a free-agent deal with LG Jonah Jackson.

Jackson (personal) carries no injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Lions, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Jackson did not participate in Friday's practice due to a personal matter, but he should be available for Sunday's wild-card game. He started all 16 games that he played in during the regular season.

Jackson is expected to rejoin the Rams on Tuesday after missing Sunday's win over the Giants due to a "family situation," Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports. The left tackle was also questionable for the matchup with the Giants due to a thigh injury. Jackson has started all 14 games he's played in this season, and his return to the team is a positive first step toward starting again in Sunday's regular-season finale against the 49ers.
