Powers-Johnson (illness) is inactive Sunday against the Ravens. Powers-Johnson was unable to suit up for Week 1 for the same illness. He was able to log three limited practices this week, so he may be on the mend and ready to make his NFL debut next Sunday against the Panthers.

  • Powers-Johnson (illness) has been deemed questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports. Powers-Johnson didn't suit up in Week 1 due to the illness, and he's at risk of sitting out Sunday as well. The offensive lineman was a limited participant in all three practice sessions this week, so he could be a game-time call. If Jackson-Powers suits up, he'll be making his regular-season professional debut after being selected by Las Vegas in the second round of April's NFL Draft.

His practice participation Thursday and Friday will provide a greater indication of whether he'll be able to make his NFL debut in Week 2. If Powers-Johnson is still unable to go Sunday, expect Jordan Meredith to serve as the Raiders' top backup guard.
