Evans (knee) shifted to injured reserve Thursday after the Bengals activated him from the reserve/COVID-19 list, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. Evans had been forced to isolate from the team since early January due to the league's COVID-19 protocols. Although he'll now be able to return to the team facilities, he's still presumably out for the season due to a knee injury that he sustained in October.

Evans (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday. Evans was carted off the field with a right knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Packers, and he's expected to miss the remainder of the season, Tyler Dragon of USA Today reports. The 26-year-old played mainly on special teams this year and totaled five tackles (three solo) across five appearances.

Evans (hamstring) won't carry an injury tag into Sunday's game against the Ravens. Evans was unavailable last week against the Texans. He'll return to the lineup for the season finale, but he's not expected to upgrade from a special-teams role.

Evans has either tested positive for the virus or come into close contact with an infected person. The Bengals are on bye Week 9, but Evans' status for Week 10 against the Steelers is up in the air.
