The Patriots selected Mafi in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 144th overall. That makes three offensive linemen added by the Patriots on Day 3. The 22-year-old is certainly raw as a guard having played defensive tackle his first two years at UCLA, but he has exceptionally quick feet for such a large body. Expect Mafi to add additional depth to the Patriots' offensive line.
