Fautanu (knee) was listed as a full participant during Thursday's practice session, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Fautanu has been working through a sprained MCL he sustained in Pittsburgh's preseason opener against Houston on Aug. 10. The rookie first-round pick opened the week as a limited participant Wednesday, but he was upgraded to full participation Thursday and he should be good to go for Week 1 against Atlanta. Fautanu is currently listed as the second right tackle on the Steelers' depth chart behind Broderick Jones.

Fautanu (knee) is expected to miss two weeks due to a sprained MCL, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Fautanu suffered an MCL sprain in Friday's preseason loss to Houston, but it appears that he could be recovered by the time the regular season begins. The 23-year-old could work his way up to a starting role when healthy after being taken with the 20th overall pick in April's NFL Draft.

Fautanu suffered a knee injury in Friday's game against Texans, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports. There has been no update on the seriousness of Fautanu's injury other than word that he is under evaluation. The rookie was selected 20th overall by the Steelers in this year's draft.
