Hall rushed 22 times for 102 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 23-10 win over the Titans. The Jets overpowered the Titans at the line of scrimmage, controlling the clock with the running game while keeping Tennessee to three points through 57 minutes. Hall didn't enjoy many favorable game scripts as the Jets went 3-14 last season, but he capitalized on the heavy workload in the season-opening win while racking up 24 touches to Braelon Allen's 10. Rookie TE Kenyon Sadiq scored a three-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter as new OC Frank Reich reached deep into his playbook early, but Hall also found the end zone with a four-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Hall and the Jets will look to build on this strong start in their Week 2 home opener against the Packers.

Hall (groin) could handle a full workload in Sunday's season opener against the Titans, as Jets offensive coordinator Frank Reich said Thursday that "unless [head coach Aaron Glenn] and the training staff give us a rep count, we just go play ball," Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Hall initially received a recovery timetable of 2-to-3 weeks after sustaining a groin strain Aug. 17. Just over three weeks has passed since that date, and Hall practiced without limitations Wednesday, suggesting he has made a full recovery. Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis, the latter of whom has been cleared to return from a knee injury sustained during training camp, could factor into the game plan as change-of-pace options, but Hall is expected to lead the Jets backfield and handle his normal workload against the Titans in Week 1.

Hall (groin) was a full participant on Wednesday's practice report, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports. The star running back was a full-go to begin the practice week as Sunday's season opener looms. Hall suffered a groin injury late in camp but has been making good progress to the point that it's been expected that he will be ready for Week 1. Look for Hall to lead the Jets' backfield to begin the campaign.

Hall (groin) was seen taking part in positional drills during Tuesday's practice, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports. The Jets won't release their first injury report of the season until Wednesday, but Hall's activity at Tuesday's session offers hope that he might be listed as a full participant. Though Hall had been limited at practice over the past three weeks while nursing a minor right groin strain, the expectation is that he'll be ready to handle a lead role in the backfield during Sunday's season opener versus the Titans.

Hall (groin) is expected to be ready for Week 1 against the Titans on Sunday, Sept. 13, Jack Bell of the Jets' official site reports. Hall is still nursing the groin injury he suffered 17 days ago, but he was originally given a return timetable of 2-to-3 weeks and was spotted running without any noticeable issues on a side field last week. Barring any setbacks, it sounds like Hall should be fine for the season opener. Whether he sees his normal workload is another question, as Braelon Allen has looked the part in practice and during limited preseason action, where he rushed seven times for 48 yards (6.9 YPC) and one touchdown.
