Percy Harvin: Ready to play football again
Percy Harvin said Wednesday that he plans to come out of retirement and attempt a return to the NFL, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.Harvin initially decided to retire after the 2015 season but then played a couple of games for the Bills in November 2016. He's set to turn 32 in May, four years removed from his last NFL appearance and nine years removed from his career-best 2011 campaign with the Vikings. Harvin could draw some interest as a slot receiver and return specialist, but he'll need to battle for a spot on a 53-man roster if he ends up signing with an NFL franchise. His lengthy medical record is highlighted by chronic hip injuries and migraines, with Harvin playing only 30 games for four different teams between 2012 and 2016. He reportedly weighs 185 pounds, which is seven pounds below what he checked in at during the 2009 NFL Combine weight and about 15 pounds shy of his listed playing weight for most of his career.

Percy Harvin: Remains retired
Despite rumors that surfaced Monday that Percy Harvin may consider un-retiring, there's been nothing to support that claim. The 31-year-old came out of retirement the first time to play for Buffalo again in 2016, but he was sidelined after two games by migraines that he had been dealing with throughout his career. Over the course of Harvin's seven-year tenure, he wasn't able to get back to the numbers he put up in Minnesota to begin his career. The speedy wideout logged 87 catches for 967 yards and six touchdowns in 2011, but he was never able to record more than 350 yards in a season after 2012.

The Buffalo Bills are extremely banged up at the wide receiver position, as Robert Woods (knee) is also out this week, and both Sammy Watkins (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (wrist) are injured too. However, it appears the latter two will be able to suit up and lead the Bills' receiving corps in Week 13.

Percy Harvin (illness) won't practice Wednesday.Harvin has been dealing with migraines of late, an issue that kept him from playing this past Sunday against the Jaguars.
