Preston Parker worked out for the Saints on Monday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.Parker was released by the Giants after a drop-riddled first two games of this season, but is still an option for teams to consider following his 36-catch campaign last year. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if Parker's workout results in an offer from the Saints.

Giants part ways with WR Preston Parker on Tuesday
Wide receiver Preston Parker was released by the New York Giants on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of FS1 reports. Parker had trouble hanging onto the football over the season's first two games, so the Giants decided to take him off the roster in order to open up a spot for defensive lineman Kenrick Ellis. Parker totaled 76 receptions for the Giants over the last two seasons, so he figures to draw interest from teams in need of receiving help.

Giants get offensive contributions Week 16
The New York Giants got a slew of offensive contributions in their 37-27 win at St. Louis. Among them, tight end Larry Donnell caught four of five targets for 42 yards, wideout Preston Parker caught all three of his targets for 32 yards and tight end Daniel Fells hauled in two passes for 20 yards. Backup running back Orleans Darkwa ran four times for 21 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown, and secured both his targets for 17 yards. They'll all play the Eagles in Week 17.

Giants' Rodgers-Cromartie among probables for Giants in Week 14
The New York Giants released their final Week 14 injury report and listed Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (back), Jameel McClain (knee), Preston Parker (knee) and Cullen Jenkins (calf) as probable for Sunday’s game against the Titans. The Giants also listed Mark Herzlich (concussion) as questionable, with James Brewer (concussion) and Jacquian Williams (concussion) being listed as out.

Giants WR Preston Parker records second TD in last four games
New York Giants wide receiver Preston Parker recorded a receiving touchdown for the second time in four games during a 25-24 loss Week 13 at Jacksonville. Parker, who was targeted four times, finished with two catches for 6 yards. Parker's 3-yard touchdown catch with 11:27 left in the second quarter gave New York a 14-0 lead. It was his fifth career touchdown reception. The Giants are back in action Week 14 at Tennessee.

Giants' Rueben Randle paces secondary targets in Week 12
New York Giants wide receiver Rueben Randle caught all three of his targets for 36 yards in his team's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys in Week 12. Eli Manning was locked in on rookie Odell Beckham (10 catches, 146 yards, two TDs) and running back Rashad Jennings (eight catches, 68 yards), and Randle was one of the quarterback's six other targeted receivers to split 11 catches. Tight end Daniel Fells also secured three receptions for 35 yards, while tight end Larry Donnell managed just two receptions for 24 yards. Wide receiver Preston Parker caught one of his three targets for 16 yards, while tight end Adrien Robinson caught his only target for a one-yard touchdown. Randle, Parker and the team's TE corps should continue to play a complementary role behind Beckham moving forward. The Giants will take on the Jaguars in Week 13.

Giants WR Preston Parker breaks out Week 10
New York Giants wideout Preston Parker turned in a breakout game Week 10 against the Seahawks. Parker hauled in seven balls for 79 yards. Both figures were a season-high for Parker. He got things started off early, catching a 6 yard touchdown from Eli Manning for the team's first score of the day. Parker didn't stop there, and seemed to be a consistent threat throughout the game. He'll look to reproduce his numbers Week 11 against the 49ers.

Giants list final injury report for Week 10
New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings (knee) was the only player labeled doubtful heading into Sunday's game against the Seahawks in Seattle. The team released its final injury report Friday and the only players deemed questionable for Week 10 were Cullen Jenkins (calf), Mathias Kiwanuka (knee) and Zack Bowman (abdomen). Weston Richburg (ankle), Adam Snyder (knee), Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (back), Steve Weatherford (ankle) and Preston Parker (ankle).

Giants WR Preston Parker rolls ankle during Week 9 loss
New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Tuesday wide receiver Preston Parker rolled his ankle during Monday's loss against the Colts. Coughlin didn't seem too indicate it was a serious injury, but Parker's status is still up in the air for Week 10.
