    Report: WR Chris Williams works out for Colts, Bucs and Bengals

    Wide receiver and kick returner Chris Williams worked out for the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cincinnati Bengals recently, according to nationalfootballpost.com. Williams, formerly of the CFL, has also spent time with the Dolphins, Browns, Saints and Bears. As a rookie in the CFL, Williams won the league's top rookie award, hauling in 70 receptions for 1,064 yards and six touchdowns.

    Bears list three as probable for game against Buccaneers

    Standout wideout Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) and Brandon Marshall (ankle) are not the only probables on the injury listed submitted Friday by the Chicago Bears for their Week 12 game against Tampa Bay. Defensive tackle Ego Ferguson (illness) has also received that designation. The team has already ruled out defensive end Trevor Scott (knee), wide receiver Chris Williams (hamstring) and linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring). Offensive linemen Jordan Mills (ribs)and Eben Britton (illness) are questionable, as is cornerback Demontre Hurst (knee).

    Bills place Chris Williams on IR

    The Buffalo Bills have placed guard Chris Williams on IR. Williams played the first three games this season, but suffered a knee injury. After missing the last two games, the club decided to end his season by placing him on the IR.

    Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson (ankle) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (knee) are among the key players on both sides of the ball that have been ruled questionable for Week 6 against New England. Jackson missed practice Friday because of an illness but is listed as questionable because of a nagging ankle injury. However, a source told ESPN he's expected to play on Sunday. The following players have been deemed questionable by the Bills: DT Kyle Williams – kneelinebacker Nigel Bradham (knee), cornerback Ron Brooks (neck), safety Da'Norris Searcy (knee), linebacker Brandon Spikes (ribs) and safety Aaron Williams (wrist).     The Buffalo Bills have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions: defensive tackle Kyle Williams (knee), linebacker Nigel Bradham (knee), guard Chris Williams (back), wide receiver Marcus Easley (knee), cornerback Ross Cockrell, running back Bryce Brown and offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio.
