Lions' Crezdon Butler: Signs with Detroit
Crezdon Butler signed a contract with the Detroit Lions on Wednesday.Butler, who was released by the Lions after the preseason, appeared in eight games with the team last season. He'll add depth to the defensive backfield for the Week 17 matchup with the Packers along with a possible playoff run, but don't expect him to see many snaps. Defensive tackle Stefan Charles (knee) was moved to IR to open up a roster spot for Butler.

Lions' Crezdon Butler: Re-signs with Lions
Crezdon Butler re-signed with the Detroit Lions on Friday.Butler signed with the Lions half-way through the season after being cut during training camp during the offseason last year. He played in eight games last season, totaling three tackles. The terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Buccaneers list inactives for Week 12
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have listed WR Robert Herron, RB Mike James, CB Crezdon Butler, CB C.J. Wilson, LB Lavonte David, T Kevin Pamphile and DE Da'Quan Bowers as inactive against the Bears Week 12. David was the only player listed on the injury report. He came into the game questionable due to a hamstring injury. David was able to get through limited practice Wednesday, but did not participate in practice Thursday and Friday.

Crezdon Butler gets the axe Friday
San Diego Chargers cornerback Crezdon Butler has been cut Friday, according to Pro Football Talk. Butler was active for 12 games last season, but didn't play all that much. He registered three tackles, and forced one fumble. Butler had four tackles during the preseason.
