Bills' Kelcie McCray: Nursing hamstring issue
Kelcie McCray (hamstring) is doing individual work during Thursday's practice, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.McCray returned to practice, albeit in a limited fashion, after being sidelined since Sunday. The 29-year-old last played with the Seahawks in 2016 when he made 39 tackles (23 solo) in 16 games. McCray will need to carve out a role on special teams in order to make the 53-man roster.

Kelcie McCray did not participate in Sunday's practice due to an undisclosed injury, Joe Buscaglia of WKBW.com reports.McCray signed a reserve/future contract with Buffalo back in January and is currently spending training camp fighting for a spot on the team's final roster. It's unclear exactly what is keeping him sidelined Sunday, but any sort of serious injury will hurt his chances of surviving final cuts.

Chiefs re-sign Jason Avant, Richard Gordon and Kelcie McCray
The Kansas City Chiefs are bringing back three players from the 2014 team. On Friday, the organization announced that they have re-signed receiver Jason Avant, tight end Richard Gordon and safety Kelcie McCray. Avant was picked up by the Chiefs during the 2014 season after the Panthers released him during the season. With both teams, Avant accounted for 353 yards and a touchdown. Gordon spent time with both the Titans and the Chiefs last season and did not record any offensive stats. McCray played in all 16 games for the Chiefs a year ago and recorded 11 tackles.

The Kansas City Chiefs have swapped guard Rishaw Johnson to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for safety Kelcie McCray. The latter played in 15 games combined for Miami and Tampa Bay in 2013. He managed eight tackles and four assists a year ago. Johnson started one of the three games in which he participated for Kansas City in 2013.
