Bills' Leonard Hankerson: Returning to Bills
The Buffalo Bills and Leonard Hankerson agreed to a one-year contract Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.Hankerson opened his tenure with the Falcons last fall with 22 catches (on 39 targets) for 291 yards and two touchdowns over the first six games, but injuries soon whittled his snap counts on game day to next to nil. By early December, he was a resident of injured reserve and waived by the middle of the month. Before season's end, both the Patriots and Bills took a look at the wideout, but he was unable to produce with either organization. Nevertheless, Hankerson will get another shot in a Bills receiving corps that's populated by intriguing, yet flawed options behind clear No. 1 Sammy Watkins.
