    The Detroit Lions have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Wild Card game against the Cowboys: guard Larry Warford (knee), defensive tackles Nick Fairley (knee) and Caraun Reid, defensive back Josh Thomas, wide receiver Ryan Broyles, defensive end Larry Webster and quarterback Kellen Moore. Fairley was deemed doubtful to play Sunday on the team's final injury report, while Warford had been ruled out for the Wild Card game. Detroit is a 6-point underdog in Dallas for Sunday's playoff game.

    Lions new CB Josh Thomas: Jets coaches didn't help me

    Cornerback Josh Thomas, who has hooked on with the Detroit Lions after being cut from the New York Jets, had some pointed words for his former team. He was let go after having his playbook stolen from a New Jersey hotel. Thomas said the stolen playbook was not mentioned when he was told of his forced departure. But he added that the Jets never tried to improve his game. "I feel like I wasn't given the attention necessary as far as being engaged from the coach-to-player standpoint and know the things I need to work on," Thomas told ESPN. "It became where I was there as a player and wanting and desiring some feedback that wasn't given. So sometimes I may have been standing there with a [deer-in-headlight] look in my eyes trying to figure out what I needed to do."

    The Detroit Lions have claimed cornerback Josh Thomas on waivers, according to the New York Post.  Thomas was cut by the New York Jets on Tuesday, but found a new job quickly. He's played in three games this season, registering two tackles.

    The New York Jets announced they released cornerback Josh Thomas, who had his playbook stolen and took to Twitter pleading for its return. According to Syracuse.com, the playbook is on a team-issued tablet and the Jets digitally erased it. Thomas appeared in three games this season. The Jets did not say whether Thomas' release stemmed from his losing the playbook.
