    Bears list Week 13 injury report

    The Chicago Bears have listed their Week 13 injury report prior to Thursday's game. Wideout Brandon Marshall has been listed as probable with an ankle injury. He's been limited in practice throughout the week, but should play. Eben Britton, Jordan Mills and Brock Vereen were also listed as probable. First-round pick Kyle Fuller will come into the contest as a game-time decision. He's questionable due to a knee injury. Both Jay Ratliff and Trevor Scott will be listed as doubtful. Lance Briggs, Darryl Sharpton, Chris Williams and Brian De La Puente have already been ruled out.

    Bears add Brandon Dunn to roster as Brian de la Puente goes on IR

    The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday they placed offensive lineman Brian De La Puente on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. The team promoted defensive tackle Brandon Dunn from the practice squad to take his roster spot.

    Bears enter Week 1 relatively healthy

    The Chicago Bears announced their final injury report for Sunday's season opener at home against the Bills. Safety Chris Conte was cleared from a concussion and was a full participant in practice for the second straight day. He's listed as probable for Week 1. Offensive lineman Brian De La Puente was another full participant in practice Friday and was deemed probable as well. Tony Fiammetta is questionable with a sore hamstring.

    Brian De La Puente exits game with apparent leg injury

    Chicago Bears center Brian De La Puente was forced out of Friday's preseason opener against the Eagles with an apparent leg injury. De La Puente got his left leg bent backwards on a play, walked off the field under his own power and was unable to return.

    Brian De La Puente expected to back up Roberto Garza

    Newly-signed Chicago Bears center Brian De La Puente is expected to back up Roberto Garza this season and potentially succeed him in 2015, reports the Chicago Tribune. De La Puente turns 29 next month and started the past three seasons for New Orleans. Garza, 35, is a team captain who returned to the Bears on a one-year deal. "I feel like I can learn a lot from Roberto to take my game to the next level,” De La Puente told the paper. “I am just excited to get up there and get working."

    The Chicago Bears agreed to a one-year deal with free agent center Brian De La Puente, who started the past three seasons for the Saints, reports the Chicago Tribune.

    The New Orleans Saints' options at center include re-signing starter Brian De La Puente or adding free agent Jonathan Goodwin, reports ESPN.com. "At least one of them should come at a nice discount at this point" in free agency," the report said.
