Eagles' Julio Jones: Concussed in possible final game

Julio Jones caught all three of his targets for 22 yards in the Philadelphia Eagles' 32-9 loss to the Buccaneers on Monday in the wild-card round before exiting with a concussion.Jones joined the Eagles in October, with Philadelphia marking the fourth stop of his illustrious career. He proceeded to hold a small role while appearing in each of the Eagles' final 11 games of the regular season, compiling 11 catches for 74 yards and three touchdowns on 19 targets. Two of those touchdowns came in the penultimate game of the regular season, as Jones -- who will turn 35 years old in February -- turned back the clock in a loss to the Cardinals. If the playoff loss at Tampa Bay proves to be his final NFL game, it will be a sour note to go out on, but Jones could have a hard time making a roster even if he wanted to continue his career in light of his modest production in 2023.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Will not return

Julio Jones (concussion) won't return to Monday's wild-card game versus the Philadelphia Eagles, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.Jones' night will end with three receptions for 22 yards. In Jones' absence, Olamide Zaccheaus and Quez Watkins will presumably see increased roles alongside DeVonta Smith at wide receiver.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Evaluated for concussion

Julio Jones exited Monday's matchup with the Buccaneers to be evaluated for a concussion, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.Jones was looked at by the team's medical staff following a big hit before he subsequently jogged off the field. The veteran pass catcher tallied three receptions for 22 yards prior to sustaining the injury. If he is unable to return, Olamide Zaccheaus and Quez Watkins would be candidates to see increased snaps at wide receiver.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Adds two receptions in Week 18

Julio Jones caught two passes for 13 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants.Jones didn't do much in Sunday's regular-season finale, though he did manage double-digit receiving yards for the second straight week, something he failed to do in his first 11 games as an Eagle. He'll finish the season with 11 catches for 74 yards and three scores.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Checks in with two TD catches

Julio Jones had two receptions on as many targets for 34 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Cardinals.Jones made his biggest impact of the season Sunday after recording just seven receptions for 27 yards over his previous eight appearances with the club. The future Hall of Famer was in vintage form, catching touchdown passes of 12 and 22 yards respectively. Normally we could write off a two-score performance from a role player as an anomaly, but this situation may prove unqiue, and not just because it involves an active legend like Jones. The Philadelphia Eagles lost DeVonta Smith (foot) to injury in the fourth quarter, and the star receiver was spotted using crutches after the game. The Eagles do have seeding to play for in Week 18, and the optics from Sunday's upset loss combined with the need to prepare for the playoffs could have the team in need of a starting wideout opposite A.J. Brown against the Giants. Jones would likely slide into the starting lineup in that scenario, giving him a huge boost in fantasy value after carrying virtually none prior to Week 17.

Eagles' Julio Jones: One catch on Christmas

Julio Jones caught one of four targets for five yards in Monday's 33-25 win over the Giants.Jones' four targets were a season high. He's yet to reach double-digit receiving yards in any of his nine games with the Philadelphia Eagles this season, averaging 0.8 catches for 3.0 yards per game.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Cleared to face Dallas

Julio Jones (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.Jones practiced in a limited fashion Friday, but that was enough for the Philadelphia Eagles to clear him for this weekend's divisional matchup. The 34-year-old wide receiver will likely continue to have his practice reps managed on a weekly basis to keep him fresh on game days. Jones hasn't made much of a ripple in the box score since signing with the Eagles, and he may find himself fourth or fifth in the pecking order at receiver moving forward after Quez Watkins returned from injured reserve last week.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Misses first Week 14 practice

Julio Jones is listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report due to a groin injury. The injury might explain why Jones' playing time fell off a cliff (10 snaps) in Sunday's loss to the 49ers, though it's also possible the Philadelphia Eagles simply prefer Quez Watkins (46 snaps) as their No. 3 receiver. Jones was listed with a knee injury the past few weeks, but the groin issue is something new and might affect his availability for a matchup with the Cowboys this Sunday.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Not targeted in Week 13 loss

Julio Jones did not see a single target in Sunday's loss to San Francisco.Jones played more than 50 percent of the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive snaps in Weeks 11 and 12, but his snap count plummeted to just 10 (of 72) in Week 13. The knee issue which limited Jones in practice may have been the culprit, but the fact that fellow wideout Quez Watkins saw his snap count jump from 16 to 46 in his second week back from a hamstring injury also may have been relevant.

Eagles' Julio Jones: Avoids injury designation

Julio Jones (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.Jones took over the No. 3 receiver role Week 11 against the Chiefs, playing 57 percent of snaps in a 21-17 Philadelphia Eagles victory. He then went up to 71 percent last week against the Bills even with Quez Watkins returning from injured reserve, but all the playing time hasn't led to much production. Jones had only three catches for five yards on five targets the past two weeks, after hauling in two passes for 11 yards and a TD through his first three games with the Eagles. If he doesn't start to catch some passes, the team might eventually shift back to Watkins and/or Olamide Zaccheaus in the No. 3 role.
